New character pictures of Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo have been unveiled for JTBC’s forthcoming weekend drama “Snowdrop!”
“Snowdrop,” directed and written by the “SKY Castle” crew, is set in Seoul in 1987. The drama follows Im Su Ho (Jung Hae In), a prestigious university student who rushes into a women’s university drenched in blood one day, and Eun Young Ro (BLACKPINK’s Jisoo), a student at the women’s university who hides and looks after him while being under close observation.
Im Soo Ho and Eun Young Ro’s profound gazes behind broken glass are highlighted in the two new posters. Im Soo Ho’s poster depicts him bowing his head in agony. “The man who points his doom at her, Im Soo Ho,” reads the writing at the bottom. Im Soo Ho’s inner turmoil is expressed by the lonely and dark atmosphere, as well as the broken glass, as he stands between his fate and his inevitable love. Viewers are eager to see how Jung Hae In, with his excellent and precise acting, would represent the mystery figure.
Eun Young Ro captivates spectators with her melancholy glance as she stares straight ahead in her poster. The harsh glass bits seem to contrast sharply with her sweet trust in love. “The woman who aims her love at him, Eun Young Ro,” reads the text on her poster, prompting suspicions about the two protagonists’ relationship.
“The two performers Jung Hae In and Jisoo exhibited the appropriate expressions and mood at the poster shot within a short amount of time, and they were highly in sync with their roles,” the production team said. “Please keep an eye on how Im Soo Ho and Eun Young Ro, who are caught up in an incident that sweeps them up like fate, will bond and what decisions they will make,” they continued.
The premiere of “Snowdrop” will take place on December 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
